Q1. What is the NITSEP Initiative?

The Nationwide IT Skillsets Expansion Program (NITSEP) is an initiative designed to develop and enhance the IT skills of the country's youth. This program focuses on equipping participants with advanced technological skills that are crucial in today's digital age. The objective of NITSEP is to mold a skilled workforce that can contribute to Pakistan's defense, knowledge economy, and its standing on the global stage. NITSEP offers a fully online, hands-on training curriculum that allows participants to become competent IT professionals, equipped with practical tools from the first day. The program is not just a training avenue but a movement aimed at generating employment opportunities and preparing Pakistan to compete in the global future of work.

Q2. Are there limited Seats to Join NITSEP?

Yes there will be limited seats in this program which will be on first come first serve bases. In the current Batch, NITSEP have only 25000 seats for Students across the country & Overseas Pakistanis. Students with late registration i.e. after 25000 seats will be accomodate in next Batch.

Q3. Will I get any certificate after completing the training?

Yes, students will receive a government-recognized certificate for each module completed, and a comprehensive course completion certificate at the end of the program.


Q4. Who is eligible for the Laptop Scheme?

NITSEP students who have completed at least one full course duration and have achieved a minimum of 85% in course assessments are eligible to apply for the laptop scheme.


Q5. How do I apply to NITSEP?
  • Go to Apply Section 
  • Check Candidate Undertaking Terms to Agree Option
  • Fill the online application form, set a password, and click "Next".
  • Verify your email address. An email with a verification link will be sent to your email address to verify your account.
  • After email verification, you need to upload your last degree document and images of the front and back of your CNIC or B-form. It may take up to 24 hours to review your application.
  • Candidate Application will received. NITSEP Admissions Team will verify Applicant Educational Details & Number of Vacancies Remaining, as only 25,000 Students will be Entertained for Batch 01 from all across Pakistan & Overseas Pakistanis. The candidate will receive Admission Confirmation alerts via Email within 24 hrs i.e. Either he/she eligible or not for this Program.
  • Portal Login Credentials will be sent to the Confirmed Students via Email / SMS once Admissions are closed.
Q6. In how many programs students can enroll at the same time?

A student can enroll in maximum two programs at the same time, in this case he/she will have to pay minor fee also for second program with the first one.

Q7. How long does each NITSEP program last?

Each program spans one year and is divided into four quarters, with each quarter lasting 12 weeks. There are three classes per week, each ranging from 60 to 80 minutes.


Q8. What is the minimum educational qualification required for this program?

The minimum educational requirement is matriculation. Applicants need to demonstrate a commitment to learning and a passion for IT.


Q9. How many programs are being offered in the NITSEP training program?

NITSEP is currently offering five major programs, each specializing in different domains of information technology. These programs are designed to cater to various aspects of IT and aim to equip participants with advanced skills needed for success in the global technology marketplace. Each program has a structured curriculum that spans one year, divided into four quarters, with hands-on learning through weekly classes and subtopic videos.

Q10. Where do I get this training?

The training for the NITSEP Program is delivered through an online learning portal. This digital platform enables participants to access course materials, attend classes, and engage in interactive learning activities, all from the convenience of their own home or any location with internet access.

To participate in any of the NITSEP courses, you simply need to log in to the designated Learning Management System (LMS) with your credentials provided upon registration. This flexible and accessible approach ensures that you can manage your learning schedule effectively around your personal and professional commitments.

Q11. Will this initiative offer jobs or is it just to train them?

The primary goal of the NITSEP Initiative is to provide comprehensive training to equip participants with advanced IT skills that are in high demand globally. While NITSEP itself does not guarantee job placements, the program is designed to significantly enhance the employability of its graduates. Participants who complete the program successfully are expected to be highly competitive in the job market, particularly in the international arena, where skilled IT professionals can command substantial salaries.


Q12. How can I reset my lost Password?

You can reset your password yourself through “Forgot Password” link available on “Sign In” page and follow the given instructions. If the problem persists, you can contact the support team using Contact Us Form

Q13. Can I access content of the courses once Quarter End?

You can only access Videos, Hands-on Exercises, Quizess, Handouts, Internet Links, Books, etc. in your ongoing Quarter. However, once Quarter End you ll not access previous Quarter data & you ll moved to Next Quarter.
